#StaySavvyDetermined
Many great women have traveled more difficult paths then my own, what I learned from them is to #StayDetermined
In every story there is a protagonist and an antagonist. Someone is the hero and someone or something is the villain. The classic story of good vs. evil. I have tried to consider which one I am. However, I don't fit in boxes very well.
I remember a counselor once describing me as a catalyst. I certainly understood what a catalyst is. I just didn't know what she meant by it when describing me.
I am old and cranky now, looking back on my crazy life.
I realize now what she meant. She was right.
I am a catalyst in my story. I am the energy or force that creates a change in any matter regardless of if that change is wanted or not.
I am a catalyst for change whether anyone is ready or not. I don't even intend to be. I don't even have to put much effort into it.
I simply create a change in the state of everything and everyone I touch.
This could make me an antagonist or a protagonist in a story depending on one's viewpoint. I am neither and I am both.
But like it or not, change is coming.
The catalyst must be itself, and do what a catalyst does.
I have been painted a villain and as a hero in some stories due to acting as the catalyst in another's story. Again, it all depends on one's view.
Change can be good, Change can be scary, Change can be very uncomfortable.
And that seems to be the effect I have on others.
Being old and not giving a damn about the opinions of others, I have chosen to simply accept my nature. I use it to push positive campaigns forward.
I am the flame that lights the spark, and I am the water that pushed through rock.
I will not only blaze a trail, I will remove the obstacles.
I am a catalyst. Like me or not, it is my true nature.
If you embrace me, I will push you forward in the direction of positive change.
If you neglect me or throw rocks at me, I will find a tiny crack to leak out until I become a river pushing those rocks to the side.
I am a catalyst. You would do best to accept me as I am.
It matter not though if you do or do not.
I not only accept my catalyst nature, I embrace it.
